Frequently Asked Questions

Straight answers about quotes, signing, paying, weather and permits. Still wondering? Call or text (734) 550-1110.

Are quotes free?

Yes. Every quote is free and written out line by line, so you can see exactly what you're paying for before you decide.

How do you price a job?

We measure your property from aerial maps or the outline you draw with our online measuring tool, then price each service from those measurements. We confirm everything on site. If the real measurements differ, or we find something that wasn't visible beforehand (hidden damage, drainage issues, buried debris), we go over any change with you before doing the extra work.

How long is a quote good for?

Each quote shows its "valid until" date. After that date, ask us and we'll refresh it.

How do I approve a quote?

Open the link we send you, review each line, and sign your service agreement on your phone. Your signed copy stays on file in My Account.

How do I pay?

Pay your invoice online by card from the link we send, or pay by check or cash. Your balance and past invoices are in My Account.

What happens when it rains?

Weather can move the schedule. If we need to change your day, we'll let you know the new day before we come.

Does shoreline work need a permit?

Some does. Michigan protects inland lakes and their shorelines. Sand stays above the Ordinary High Water Mark. Anything placed or dug below it, powered or large-scale weed removal, work in wetlands (including many cattail stands) and chemical treatments need an EGLE permit, and earth work within 500 feet of a lake may need a county soil erosion permit. We'll tell you up front what your project needs and won't start until permits are in place. Lakefront services โ†’

Do you use chemicals on invasive plants?

We remove invasive plants by cutting, pulling and hauling. Any herbicide treatment is done only by a state-certified pesticide applicator. Native plant services โ†’

Can you find or mark my property lines?

No. Finding or re-marking property lines is a land survey, which only a licensed surveyor can do. We can measure your yard and stake out planned beds, paths and projects, and work from a survey you already have.

Where do you work?

We're based in Pinckney and work the lakes and towns around it. See our service area โ†’
